The History of Automated Systems Consulting
Our story
Automated Systems Consulting (ASC) opened its doors in 1993. Our founder, Shawn Sutterer, saw a desperate need for a company like ASC due to the need for more client-focused, customer service-driven IT providers within the Columbia area.
Our goal was to bring full-service IT capabilities to small and medium-sized businesses. We wanted to provide them with a networking and computer sales, support, and installation company they could partner with to help grow their business.
Most importantly, we wanted to develop a reputation for providing IT solutions built on trust, personal relationships, and exceptional service that would spread through the community by word of mouth and customer referral… and it has.
ASC has grown tremendously, and we now work with hundreds of clients across mid-Missouri and beyond.
